Lecture Series Newcomers’ Club
The FAU Newcomers’ Club invites all scientists, guest researchers and friends, to join for a series of lectures this spring turn. At the next Newcomers’ Club meeting, Kerstin Sommer of FAU’s Welcome Centre will give some tips on how to successfully “deal” with the Germans. She will take a look at those things which are typical of Germany and which can cause problems for international people (e.g. communication; the concept of time; rules and regulations). This should be fun for both international and German people among us. The talk takes place at vhs CLUB INTERNATIONAL on Thursday, June 16th, 6:30 pm. After the talk, there will be time to meet and mingle.
